Our mission at AFCOM Southern California is to enable data center management and IT professionals from Los Angeles to San Diego to share industry best practices by providing a forum for dissemination of critical information; to provide education on key data center management and IT issues; to provide the industry's most comprehensive insight and analysis in key areas affecting all data-intensive organizations; and to be the most comprehensive and effective resource available to the overall data center and IT community.

The velocity of change in our industry is fascinating and challenges us to more than ever. Our eco-system of professionals creates the perfect local system to adopt to those challenges. September 2016   Letter from the President Thank you for coming to our 3rd quarterly meeting on September 21, 2016. SCE was a gracious host, and based on the feedback I received, the meeting was very well appreciated. We had a record end-user registration of a little over 50%. And I know that we had a space limitation. Not everyone could get admitted. Think about registering early. For those of you who couldn't make it and for those who would like to review the presentations, please visit our website at socalafcom.com where we published the keynote and news roundup presentations. Remember, our Holiday Social will be on December 15, 2016 at the Lyon's Air Museum in Irvine, CA. We will have early registration discounts. Look out for the meeting invitation, which will come out shortly. We look forward seeing all of you. There will be more space, promised!
